Black Market Bistro "Pig Out for Diabetes"

Black Market Bistro will be hosting an outdoor Pig Roast Competition along with two live bands featuring Blue Book Value and 2nd Story Band, a silent auction, art show and children's events. They will also be grilling burgers, hot dogs, BBQ pork as well as providing side dishes and desserts. Beer and wine will also be available. This is a rain or shine event.

Where is the event?
“Pig Out” will be a rain or shine outdoor event on the grounds surrounding Black Market Bistro in Garrett Park. 4600 Waverly Ave. Garrett Park, MD 20896
Where can I park?
Public Parking available by the train tracks in Garrett Park as well as through out the neighborhood. Please do not park in front of residential driveways.
What should I bring?
Please bring your ticket, Proof of Identification, Cash, Credit Card or Personal Check for Donation / Silent Auction Purposes.
Can I bring Lawn Chairs, Blankets, or Coolers?
Feel free to bring blankets. Lawn Chairs/Folding Chairs and Coolers will not be permitted. Outside food or beverages will not be permitted.
Can I buy tickets at the event?
Yes, providing the event is not sold out, tickets will be available for purchase at the door. Adult tickets are $45 pre sale and $50 at the door.
Will Black Market Bistro be open for Brunch or Dinner service?
Black Market will be closed for service on the day of the event.
Is this a family friendly event?
Yes, we encourage you to bring the whole family to the festivities.
Adult tickets are $45 pre sale and $50 at the door. Children ages 5-12 will be $20 and 5 and under are admitted for free.
What is included in the price of the ticket?
Admission to the event includes, live music, unlimited food, beer and wine, non-alcoholic beverages, access to the BBQ competition, Children’s events.
Why do I need to bring money?
The BBQ competition will have a “Crowd’s Choice” category determined by the highest dollar amount collected in each chef’s donation buckets.
* All donations collected in the donation buckets will go directly to the Children’s National Medical Center.
We will be hosting a silent auction and you must fulfill your pledge before receiving your item. Credit Cards and Cash will be accepted
We will be holding a cake raffle and tickets may be purchased at the event

How do I contribute if I can’t make it to the event?

Dine with us throughout the month of November, National Diabetes Awareness Month. We will be donating 100% of the proceeds generated from the sales of our Addie’s Style Mussels to the Children’s National Medical Center. We will be participating in additional food and wine promotions throughout November.
